De nombreuses applications permettent au grand public de localiser un centre d’intérêt ou une adresse, de calculer le meilleur itinéraire pour s’y rendre à l’écran ou avec un GPS. La localisation de vos points de vente ou autres centre d’intérêt peut être affichée sur votre site Web, de la même façon que nous proposons nos points GPS archivés (voir exemple). Cela suppose que la position de ces lieux soit connue en coordonnées WGS84 et stockée sous forme d’un fichier compréhensible par l’application. Citons trois exemples très connus: - Google Map. Utilisable par tout internaute sans installation préalable. - Google Earth (voir ci-contre) est devenu un incontournable, utilisé chez les particuliers comme dans les entreprises pour voir à l’écran du PC la photo aérienne d’un site. Le logiciel requis est téléchargeable gratuitement. - TomTom navigator est un GPS de navigation qui vous guide vers un endroit de votre choix. Pour ces applications, comme pour beaucoup d’autres, nous créons les fichiers que vous pourrez mettre à disposition de vos clients (en ligne comme nous l’avons fait nous même sur notre page Contact ou par un autre procédé). Selon les cas, nous utilisons vos listings d’adresses ou des relevés sur le terrain.
